This is Gingerfinch's new favourite ceramics discovery... the incredible Zuza Water Jug by Yuro Cuchor.
Zuza features a unique geometric shape and sleek, asymmetric profile; inspired by 1970s aesthetic. We love the off-center handle and the generous spout - it pours beautifully. Zuza holds around 900ml, so it's perfect as a bedside water jug or on the table for your romantic dinner for two.
Zuza's colourways are also inspired by the 1970s, with a modern twist. The vibrant pink, rust and fresh olive will add a pop of colour to your contemporary home.
The Zuza Water Jug was the winner of the 2020 VIVID Design Award in the 'Object' category. It is a handmade item and may have some imperfections.
We have never seen a water jug quite like Zuza. It is such a striking design piece that you'll want to display it on a shelf or table while it's not in use. And we have no doubt that Zuza will be fought over by your descendants in decades to come.

Yuro Cuchor is a contemporary artist originating from Slovakia where he practiced ceramics and stone restoration. In Australia, he graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Art.
In his professional practice, Cuchor experiments with constructing and reconstructing forms from a multiplicity of materials. His work is based on 3D geometric components that are assembled in numerous ways - enabling endless and varied possibilities in structure and form.
Yuro's belief is that the designed object needn't have a single purpose, but rather it can be a starting point for a configured object with a completely different purpose.
