Turkish Pomegranate Vase
The Turkish Pomegranate Vase is a contemporary example of Ottoman era design. Each piece is handcrafted, hand painted and individually signed by Turkish ceramic master-craftsman, Ibrahim Kuslu.
The elegant shape has slightly faceted sides, giving the glossy exterior a jewel-like finish. The vase is available in red, green, cream/red and mustard/red.
The Turkish Pomegranate Vase is a rare find from a bygone era – you’ll treasure it for life.
What We Love About It
There is so many things to love about this vase. The unique shape displays fresh flowers beautifully - stems rest elegantly between the spiky open top of the pomegranate. Its sculptural shape and rich colour means it looks divine displayed on a sideboard or shelf, with or without flowers.
But the most exciting thing about this vase is its construction. Master-craftsman Ibrahim Kuslu resurrected Ottoman-era ceramic techniques and materials to create these exquisite replicas of 13th Century Ottoman ceramics.
Ibrahim's work is museum quality and is indiscernible from the original Ottoman pieces. He painstakingly creates his ceramic masterpieces in his Busra studio, each vase taking around a week to complete.
