What We Love About It
The Textured Pia earrings are a real knock-out. We love the drop style and they are very comfortable to wear. These are proper 'from day to night' earrings and we know you'll love them.
Textured Pia Threaders are made by Kenyan artisans using traditional techniques. We love how each piece carries the unique signature of its maker - no pair is the same as another.
Soko don’t plate the brass so their products are easy to clean - and you don’t need to worry about the colour wearing off.

The Story Behind It
Soko seeks to redefine the aesthetics of ethical fashion by creating modern accessories that appeal to the urban woman. Founders Gwendolyn Floyd, Catherine Mahugu and Ella Peinovich established Soko in Nairobi, Kenya, with the aim of shifting the perception of ethical fashion and promote conscious consumerism.
Soko collections are inspired by architecture and traditional tribal designs, creating a strong yet minimal aesthetic. Their artisans use locally sourced and eco-friendly materials whenever possible, such as recycled brass and reclaimed cow horn and bone.
Soko believes that for something to be beautiful, the system that created it must also be beautiful. Using new digital platforms and mobile technology, they are pioneering ethical fashion by aligning handmade talent from emerging markets with the international fashion consumer. Soko works with artisan entrepreneurs every day to build their businesses, improve production capacity and sustainably increase their income.
