Recycled Wool Throw - Midnight
This newest drop from Waverley Mills is the designer's recycled wool throw.
The deepest, darkest navy drenches both the body and fringe of the blanket, making it perfect for styling as well as for curling up in front of Netflix.
The Midnight throw is a chameleon. It looks almost black at night and in soft lighting, and a beautiful rich blue in bright daylight - amazing!
The throw is made from unused wool fiber, offcuts and seconds blankets from the Waverley Mills factory floor to make this unique, ethical recycled yarn. No two are the same...
What We Love About It
This stunning blanket is all about the texture. We love the flecks of recycled fabrics and the subtle curls of white fibers dotted throughout. It is slightly rougher than the brushed recycled blankets but softens with use.
This divine blanket will be in your family for generations (we think it might be our favourite one to date).
Care: Gentle machine or hand wash in cold water. Dry cleanable. Do not dry in direct sunlight.

The Story Behind It
In 1874, Scotsman Peter Bulman began producing tweed, blankets, felted cloth, shirting, and flannel in his mill on the banks of Distillery Creek in Launceston, Tasmania. For nearly 150 years, Waverley Mills has been producing Australia’s highest quality wool textiles - and it's now the oldest working mill in Australia.
Waverley Mills select the highest quality Merino from Tasmanian farmers who use sustainable grassland systems. Waverley's products are all made in Australia to minimise the carbon footprint. You just need to touch a Waverley fabric to know its made with the highest quality and skill.
