A vivid, intoxicating scent with warming notes of pine, honey, musk and amber, the Pine and Honey Candle explores the nostalgic scents of Christmas. 

Handcrafted in the heart of Central West NSW, Meeraboo candles are made with 100% natural soy wax and housed in a matte white glass vessel. The Pine & Honey Candle comes in exquisite packaging - it makes a very special gift. 

The double wick of the candle will ensure it burns cleanly and evenly, lasting the full 50 hours.

The Story Behind It

Meeraboo are a family-owned business based in Canowindra NSW. Run by mum (and dairy farmer) Deb and daughters Danni and Jess, Meeraboo candles combine scents inspired by everything they love - simple, beautiful things. 

While working full-time at the dairy, Deb has been known to make candles into the wee hours of the morning - constantly looking for new ways to improve Meeraboo. These beautiful candles are preservative and petroleum-free, environmentally friendly, vegan, non-toxic. They are lovingly hand-poured in small quantities to ensure consistency and quality. Everything is made by hand, right down to the labelling and packaging.

The name Meeraboo originates from the family's love of rabbits. Danni and Jess' little brother coined the term Meeraboo (a combination of the words meerkat, rabbit, kangaroo) due to their rabbit's unique personalities and posture.

Buy From the Bush

This product is part of our curated 'buy from the bush' campaign. We developed this collection to provide long-term support to rural communities and those affected by the 2019-20 bushfires.

By stocking their products we can buy in larger quantities, take care of the marketing and shipping, and reach a wider audience than they are able.

When you buy a product from this collection, know that you're making a real difference in rural Australians' lives. 

Shipping Standard

- Free shipping on orders over $200 (excluding bulky items)

- $9 flat rate shipping on orders less than $200 (excluding bulky items)

- Express shipping $25 (2-4 days to metro areas)

Bulky Item Shipping

- Very large bulky items like furniture, $110 flat rate

- Large items bulky items like stools, platform stands, $60 flat rate

- Small bulky items like mirrors, clocks and lamps, $35 flat rate

We reserve the right to issue an invoice for extra shipping if your shipping location far exceeds the flat rate for bulky items. 

At Gingerfinch we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Online shopping can be stressful, so if you decide your purchase is not right for you we offer a generous returns policy.  

Return Policy Guidelines

We accept returns or exchange for change of mind within 30 days of the purchase delivery date, providing the product is unused, in its original packaging and accompanied by a receipt. We do not accept returns after the 30 day period. 

Returned items will be reimbursed the full purchase price minus delivery charges upon arrival at our address. Returned items can also be exchanged for store credit.

Any shipping costs incurred will not be refunded and the cost of returning the goods will be paid by you. We recommend using a trackable or signed-for delivery service such as registered post, as we cannot provide a store-credit or refund until the item has been received.

How do you return a product purchased from Gingerfinch?

The first thing to do is contact us to let us know about the problem. Email us at and provide the following details:

  • your order number and the date of your order
  • your contact details including full name, address, phone number and email
  • a description of the problem with photographic evidence
  • request an exchange, store credit or refund.

    Once we receive your claim we will contact you to work out the best way forward, including returning the product and providing any refund or replacement.

    When are products not eligible for exchange or refund? 

    There are certain situations where a refund will not be granted: 

    • when an item has obvious signs of use
    • when an item is not in its original condition, is damaged for reasons not due to our error
    • when an item is returned more than 30 days after delivery date
    • certain sale items are not eligible for return, and
    • perishable goods and magazines are not eligible for return.

      Damaged or Broken Goods

      It happens very rarely, but every so often our couriers are not as gentle as they usually are and your order may arrive damaged or broken. If this occurs, please contact us immediately at and provide a photograph of the damaged or broken item. We will then review the request and process a refund or send out a replacement.
