Big Dot Resin Coasters - Green/White

If you're looking for a serious pop of colour on your coffee table, the Big Dot Resin Coasters are it! 

The Big Dot resin coasters are handmade by designer Carmel Mahri in her Melbourne studio. They are inspired by stained glass art - we ADORE the colour combinations. Each piece has its own disposition, depending on the colour’s richness and transparency when viewed against the light. These coasters feature transparent green with an opaque white center. 

The coasters are handmade from resin and may have some imperfections. They are perfectly smooth and won't scratch your surfaces, but you may wish to stick clear silicone feet on them (available at all hardware stores) to elevate the coasters slightly.

The Big Dot Resin Coasters are available as a set of 2 or a set of 4. These incredible coasters are exclusive to Gingerfinch.

The Story Behind it

Chilimarini is a Melbourne-based design studio by Carmel Mahri. Her designs are heavily characterised by colour blocking and the use of contrasting colours. 

Carmel established her studio in 2020 with a focus on textile goods, but she is continuing to learn about new materials and production techniques to grow her selection of lifestyle pieces for Chilimarini.
