Sustainable Beeswax Food Wraps
Food wraps by Sustomi are the natural, healthy and sustainable alternative to plastic wrap.
Made with 100% cotton, pure beeswax, jojoba oil and tree resin, the beeswax wraps are perfect for wrapping cheese, bread, herbs, sandwiches, salads, or for keeping your fruit and veggies fresh.
What We Love About It
The organic jojoba oil and beeswax of these incredible green wraps create a naturally anti-bacterial environment for your food.
Simply use the warmth of your hands to shape the beeswax wrap around your food or bowl. The wrap will stick to itself and create a seal. When cool, the beeswax will hold its shape.
Beeswax wraps are washable and reusable and will last up to 12 months. Wash in cool water with gentle soap, dry and store until your next use.
The green wraps are biodegradable and can be disposed of sustainably when they have reached the end of their life.
Ethically sourced, handmade in Australia and cruelty free. Avoid raw meats and heat sources.

The Story Behind It
Sustomi founder, Bronwyn, started producing her own beeswax wraps out of a deep concern with the amount of everyday plastic waste. The average Australian throws away a whopping 650 kilograms of waste every year (which includes a lot of plastic); second only to the United States! So Bronwyn wanted to create a product that would enable people to reduce their waste, minimise toxic-plastics and overall, help the environment.
The name Sustomi is a combination of the words sustainable and home - expressing Bronwyn's desire to make our homes (and life) as sustainable as possible.
Bronwyn hand makes all her products from her studio in Hobart - from the cutting of the material, the stamping, the waxing, the folding and packaging. She hopes that Sustomi inspires a beautiful, sustainable, balanced, and healthier lifestyle for you.
