If you love linen as much as we do, you must get your hands on one of By Mölle's European linen throws.

These versatile throws are made from 100% pre-washed linen. Use it as a light throw over your couch, as a summer blanket, a bed cover, or even a tablecloth.

The linen fabric is woven to create a light and darker side which creates gorgeous contrast as it drapes. Olive Leaf is a soft, green/grey colour with a lighter underside - just like a two-tone olive leaf. 

This linen is already incredibly soft, unlike lesser-quality linens that take forever to 'wear in'.  

By Mölle linen fabrics are yarn-dyed and woven in family-run weaving factories in Europe. They are not only practical and beautiful but are ethically and environmentally sound.

The Story Behind It

By Mölle is ethical Dutch design at its best. Founded by Slow Living advoke Marianne Maat in 2011, By Mölle is based on the principle of buy less but buy for life. Marianne has a passion for design and the ambition to contribute to a better world, so she created an eco-friendly, responsible interiors brand. The By Mölle studio is based in a restored miller's house and windmill in the Dutch countryside -Mölle means mill in Dutch local dialect.

By Mölle's designs are made in Europe by craftspeople who respect the environment and sustainability. Cushions, bed and table linen by hand in the By Mölle studio. From bespoke quilts to linen napkins, everything is made to order with as little waste as possible. 

Shipping Standard

- Free shipping on orders over $200 (excluding bulky items)

- $9 flat rate shipping on orders less than $200 (excluding bulky items)

- Express shipping $25 (2-4 days to metro areas)

- Pick up from Fyshwick, ACT. Email to arrange a pick-up time. 

Bulky Item Shipping

- Very large bulky items like furniture, $110 flat rate

- Large items bulky items like stools, platform stands, $60 flat rate

- Small bulky items like mirrors, clocks and lamps, $35 flat rate

We reserve the right to issue an invoice for extra shipping if your shipping location far exceeds the flat rate for bulky items. 

At Gingerfinch we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Online shopping can be stressful, so if you decide your purchase is not right for you we offer a generous returns policy.  

Return Policy Guidelines

We accept returns or exchange for change of mind within 30 days of the purchase delivery date, providing the product is unused, in its original packaging and accompanied by a receipt. We do not accept returns after the 30 day period. 

Returned items will be reimbursed the full purchase price minus delivery charges upon arrival at our address. Returned items can also be exchanged for store credit.

Any shipping costs incurred will not be refunded and the cost of returning the goods will be paid by you. We recommend using a trackable or signed-for delivery service such as registered post, as we cannot provide a store-credit or refund until the item has been received.

How do you return a product purchased from Gingerfinch?

The first thing to do is contact us to let us know about the problem. Email us at and provide the following details:

  • your order number and the date of your order
  • your contact details including full name, address, phone number and email
  • a description of the problem with photographic evidence
  • request an exchange, store credit or refund.

    Once we receive your claim we will contact you to work out the best way forward, including returning the product and providing any refund or replacement.

    When are products not eligible for exchange or refund? 

    There are certain situations where a refund will not be granted: 

    • when an item has obvious signs of use
    • when an item is not in its original condition, is damaged for reasons not due to our error
    • when an item is returned more than 30 days after delivery date
    • certain sale items are not eligible for return, and
    • perishable goods and magazines are not eligible for return.

      Damaged or Broken Goods

      It happens very rarely, but every so often our couriers are not as gentle as they usually are and your order may arrive damaged or broken. If this occurs, please contact us immediately at and provide a photograph of the damaged or broken item. We will then review the request and process a refund or send out a replacement.
