The Story Behind It
Meeraboo are a family owned business based in Canowindra NSW. Run by mum (and dairy farmer) Deb and daughters Danni and Jess, Meeraboo candles combine scents inspired by everything they love - simple, beautiful things.
While working full time at the dairy, Deb has been known to make candles into the wee hours of the morning - constantly looking for new ways to improve Meeraboo. These beautiful candles are preservative and petroleum free, environmentally friendly, vegan, non-toxic. They are lovingly hand-poured in small quantities to ensure consistency and quality. Everything is made by hand, right down to the labelling and packaging.
The name Meeraboo originates from the family's love of rabbits. Danni and Jess' little brother coined the term Meeraboo (a combination of the words meerkat, rabbit, kangaroo) due to their rabbit's unique personalities and posture.
