Wedding season has arrived! With the warmer weather comes lots of happy couples tying the knot.
Whether you're a bride and groom looking for inspiration for your wedding registry, or a lucky wedding guest, our Ultimate Wedding Gift Guide will help you find the perfect gift for the stylish couple.
How much should I spend on a wedding gift?
This is a tough question and of course, 'it depends'. But here is a rough guide to make sure you're in the ballpark.
The average spend on a wedding gift in Australia is between $100-$200. If you and your partner are both invited to the wedding, you may wish to aim for the $150-$200 mark. If you are besties with the bride or groom, spending around $200 would be the way to go.
If the bride or groom are a close relative you may wish to spend around $200-$300. If you are the parents of the happy couple, then often the gift spend is above $300 - but that might depend on whether you chipped in on the wedding costs!
These figures are just a guide and you should only spend what you're comfortable with. What's more important is that your gift is meaningful and from the heart.
